Buying and downloading

How do I get my files?
Straight after payment, a download button appears on your order confirmation page, and we email you a download link. You'll get a ZIP file with the blank Excel workbook, a filled-in Example workbook, a Quick Start guide and a PDF with the links to your Google Sheets edition.

The email hasn't arrived. What should I do?
Check your spam folder first. If it isn't there, email support@shoptabloom.com with your order number and we'll send a new link.

Can I get a refund?
Because files are available immediately, we don't refund change-of-mind purchases once you've downloaded them. If a file is faulty or not as described, we'll fix or replace it, or refund you. We also refund duplicate purchases. If you're in the UK or Europe and haven't started downloading yet, you can cancel within 14 days using the "Withdraw from contract" link at the bottom of the page. Can I buy from my country?
We sell to the United Kingdom, the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, the United States and many other countries. We don't currently sell to a few countries where we aren't yet registered for local taxes. If we can't sell to your country, checkout will tell you.

Do you charge tax?
Where the law requires it, VAT, GST or sales tax is shown at checkout. Prices for the UK and the European Union include VAT at your country's rate.

Using the templates

Which software do I need?
For the Excel edition, Microsoft Excel 2010 or later for Windows, Excel 2011 or later for Mac, or Microsoft 365. For the Google Sheets edition, a free Google account. The templates contain no macros, so there are no security warnings to click through.

Do they work in Google Sheets, Numbers or Excel online?
Yes for Google Sheets: every purchase includes a Google Sheets edition. Open the Google Sheets Edition PDF in your download and click a link while you're signed in to your Google account, and your own copy appears in your Google Drive. Apple Numbers and Excel for the web can open the Excel workbook, but some features may not work there.

Do they work on a phone or tablet?
The Excel and Google Sheets mobile apps can open them, but the templates are designed for a computer and some features may not work on a phone or tablet.

Is it hard to set up?
No. Each template opens on a Start Here tab with a short checklist, and the Example workbook shows every feature with sample data.

Can I change the templates?
Yes. You can type in your own data, rename categories and adjust the settings. Report tabs are protected without a password to prevent accidental edits, so you can unprotect them if you want to change a layout. Keep a backup first.

Is my data private?
Yes. Your data stays in your file on your own device or cloud storage. We never see it.

Licenses and updates

Which license do I need?
Standard is for your own use, personally or in your own business. Professional adds use with unlimited clients. See License terms.

Do I get updates?
Yes. When we release an updated version, buyers of that edition get it at no extra cost.
